About Us
Maranatha Preparatory School is a registered school with the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education. Its doors opened in June 1996. It has been preparing children for primary, higher and tertiary education since its inception. It espouses Christian values as depicted by our name, “Maranatha”, a Hebrew name which means, “Jesus Christ is coming very soon”. The logo aptly symbolizes the very essence of our name; ‘His coming back in the clouds shining like the sun’. We groom children from one and a half years up to twelve, laying a firm foundation for higher and tertiary education. Our teachers’ work ethics and the conduct of all Maranatha Preparatory students are guided by our Mission Statement.
Our Facilities
Maranatha Preparatory School aims to provide a happy, secure and stimulating environment which will both nurture and challenge our students as they explore the world around them. Our institution enables a learner to further his/her skills and understanding without any fear of failing. This is realised through guided play and cordial interaction with friendly, supportive and knowledgeable adults.
Information and Communication Technology
The school offers a program of computer studies beginning at pre-reception which focuses on optimized application of Information and Communication Technology, moulding and developing learners to perform at their peak through maximizing computer usage and execution of e-learning.
Co-curricular Activities
To buttress our holistic approach to education, we offer our learners a rich milieu of sporting activities, enlightening clubs, choral and musical instruments-playing classes as well as lifelong skills in culinary arts.
